I walked into work the next morning like a zombie. I had to leave John's at 6:00am to run home so I could get dressed for work. Donna studied me curiously as she handed me my frozen coffee. I stopped her before she could even start.

"We will talk about this over lunch cause I am way too tired to even get into it now. Besides, I'm afraid of what the walls of my office would think about me if I did."

She raised her eyebrows in speculation. "OK, Miss Spencer. Should I hold your calls as well?" She asked.

I leaned back into my leather chair. "I think that's probably a good idea."

When Donna came to get me for lunch I was deep in the throes of a seriously hedonistic daydream where I was having a threesome with Julian and John. She snapped me out of it just as I was trying to decide who was going to fuck me first.

I am going Crazy.

I grabbed my purse and shades and we headed down to lunch. Since we had both had long weekends we opted for sandwiches and a park bench. I still didn't understand why, but I almost felt more comfortable confiding in her than anyone else at the moment. She didn't have a judgmental bone in her body and she tried to put herself in my shoes before she threw out some random line of advice.

"Jade, I'm stumped. I mean when you told me about Julian, I was like wow, but then when I see you and John and the way things are developing with you two I totally want it to work out with you guys. Do you love him? I mean, it sounds like you do. I would be lying if I said I thought he could erase Julian's mark because he has left a serious one girl, but what you have with John goes deeper," she analyzed.

I picked at my sandwich contemplating her last words.

"Donna, when I was with Evan I just woke up one day knowing he wasn't the one even though I had thought he was for years. What I feel for John is so different from my feelings for Julian, and I've never felt any of this before. Last night was so unexpected on so many levels. I felt like my feelings were exploding out of me. I've orgasmed before; many times, but I never cried. I haven't cried so much since I was a baby. I think I was in shock the whole time. I think I am still in shock." I didn't want to mention that I hadn't cried this much since my mother left me.

She laughed and shook her head. "Yeah, I think that would have shocked me too, but it sounds like hella fun. But really. Do you think the crying had more to do with all those feelings you've kept bottled up? I know you miss Julian, even if you don't talk about it. I think there's a lot going on in that little heart of yours right now.
